Class gathering
9:57 AM
There is onli 1 word that can describe the 6A class gathering:DISASTROUS.Well, not really. The problems all started at school(Secondary). It was given out that the whole thing would end @ about 11am.Well and good. The class gathering was at 1pm and it took about 40minutes to get there. My approx.schedule was this:
11am:Release
11.40am(approx.):Get to pri. school.
11.40am-1pm :Give out presents, catch up with friends who arrive early, etc.
1pm onwards:Class gathering(May go elsewhere 4 outing)
But the problem was, there was this major disrepancy in the release time.Instead of about 11pm,it was until 12pm.I tell you, sitting down for almost 3 hours is enough to murder.Tre concert was great . (Ya,it really was)But 1 hour late was beyong my patience limit.
Then when I got there,it was 12.40pm.There was still plenty of time. But then when I got there, there were signs stuck everywhere:(I'm typing it out.i wanted 2 put the picture but I lost my USB cable):
NOTICE TO EX-STUDENTS
1.NO LOITERING ALONG THE CLASSROOM CORRIDORS
2.NO PLAYING AT THE PARADE SQUARE ,BASKETBALL
COURT AND FIELD AT ANY TIME.
3.NO ACCESS TO THE STAFF ROOM.YOU WILL MEET YOUR
TEACHERS ONLY AT THE CANTEEN.
4,ALL EX-STUDENTS ARE TO LEAVE THE SCHOOL BY 2.30PM.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR COORPERATION.

Well people, that sign was as good as deeming all EX-STUDENTS outcasts. No access to the staff-room,parade square, basketball court, field. Not even allowed to go to the classrooms to say hello to the teachers.
Doesn't the sign look atrocious to you?
I mean,I studied there. For 4 years,no less. But I'm treated like some piece of trash that'll tarnish the school reputation. The old principal never had such rules. But the school was still the most sought-after in Sengkang.AND everyone:teachers, existing students, and the ex-pupils.Before last year,ex-pupils were treated as honoured guests. Not really. But they held a certain amount of respect, all the same.Guests yesterday, trash today, recycled trash tomorrow.
After that damned sign,I was so irritated. Then i realized there was a concert too.I went there.
I saw a horrifying sight:the teacher(new) was yelling his head off at the pupils.Another teacher(also new)was telling people off, though on a much smaller scale. Then the 1st new teacher said,"Do you want an hour of celebrations or an hour of scolding?"Feeling rebellious,I said audibly,"An hour of scolding."
But the stupid a** apparently has the ears of a fox.He said"Who said an hour of scolding from the gallery?"
Then my friends laughed together with me.I loved irritating that ******.
The concert bypassed the limits of boring. It was chronically idiotic. In the end,I couldn't take it anymore and i asked my friends if they wanted to go downstairs."Cos its so damn boring." I said.
Surprisingly, the entire class of 6A'07 agreed with me.Our united spirit moved us downstairs and we ate cake.A lot better than the concert anyway. But each person had to pay $2 4 the cake. But I paid $4 by mistake...But then we had to go off early...Cos of the stupid 2.30pm restriction. But at least I have a good idea now of how the stupid new principal ( I call him Ah Meng)is attempting to destroy my primary school.Must end...Or this post will be toooo long.=)

Back to (primary)School!!!
3:33 PM
Yay!!! Teacher's Day 's coming!!!!This Friday.Ole!!! Now dat principal of i-dun-tell-you Primary School HAS OFFICIALLY NO REASON LEFT TO LOCK US OUT OF OUR PRI. SCHOOL!!! At first (last yr),seniors who have officially graduated can go back any day ,anytime, and can go anywhere in the school(including cheonging into class to yell hi @ the teachers).Well, as a primary student last year ,these things didn't bother me.But then this damned new principal came along. As of this year, he assumed post as principal.NOW(as of Jan 1,2008),
1.Ex-pupils are not allowed to go into the school unless accompanied with a teacher
2.Ex-pupils may not enter the staff-room,computer lab or library unless accompanied with a teacher(with permission obtained beforehand)
3.Ex-pupils may not go along classroom corridors, with or without permission.
But relax.I am so gonna break every single rule.Cos apparently the new guy is terrified of terrorists coming to bomb the school.I don't care. Not even if some gun-and-bomb-waving guy can keep ME out of the library ,comp. lab,or whatever.Anyway,I won't even stay too long in school .Class gathering within sights...Haha.

Minds
7:02 PM
Went to the MINDS school today.I'm not naming the exact school but it's in Queenstown. We were doing our IPW project.Meaning: we were split into a lot of groups .Art and crafts(to teach the kids there to make stuff),Concert(isn't it obvious? That group was to organize a concert for the people there),Music and Movement(Dance for the kids) and backstage(to make props for the concert etc).
Well, for such a small-scale event,it was quite troublesome.Being a extremely busy person with hardly 1 hour a day to call my own (except for the twilight zone between 7 and 8 pm reserved for TV),attempting to chop out adequately-sized photo frames(I was in the Arts and Crafts group-the most boring one,and therefore the one least bothered by critical teachers),was no mean feat.
Let me explain the entire IPW concept:We got the project early in the year, but all the workshops and homework and studies,it was pretty tough to fit it into our schedules. And the teacher didn't emphasize it anyway,so everyone forgot about it.
Then approximately 2-3 months ago, teacher started pushing us about it.THEN everyone started thinking about it,but no effort cos' it didn't sound important to us,with exams + a whole lot more of other stuff.
1-2 months ago:started panicking.Concert group was working extremely hard.Everyone did.But then teacher gave an extremely critical opinion about the skits.Everyone went crazy and started to work real hard.
3 weeks ago:CA2 so no emphasis on that thing.
2 weeks ago: another critical opinion.Everyone were half mad now.No recess,no lunch, and a whole lot of rehearsing.
TODAY:A flop.Everyone were so nervous and the rehearsal got the entire class a unforgettable tongue-lashing.
Actual thing(still today):Went very well but the people weren't listening.
It was very funny...Cos' the backstage people had blown a lot of balloons to put as a backdrop.
Then apparently they had blown too hard or the balloons were too fragile:3 balloons went pop as they put it up.It was funnier than the rehearsal anyway.
Then on the way back to school,we had great fun playing with the balloons.Throw them all over the place and they won't hurt anyone.
At school came the grand finale:A couple of guys put the things down and jumped on them-Magnificent balloon bombing party.
I realize I've not put much about what happened at the school.Looks like it'll have to wait for another day...

Complain Queen is back
3:53 PM
Ole!!! At long last I can begin my list of complaints ALL OVER AGAIN.But relax,I won't be so loh so in this new blog(except that it has the same HTML as before.)Hehe...

But back to business.I have soooo many things to say that I've forgotten at least 80% of them.Don't blame me for my short-term memory though....

OK.1st I will talk about the BIGGEST thing in 4 years that has taken place this year.On 08/08/08 , no less. Yup,it's the Olympics opening ceremony 2 days ago!!!And my little sister's birthday(the 5-year-old one)
Yup,THIS is my ickle sis.Cute rite?as if
Well ,enough of my sis.Let's concentrate on the Olympics ceremony.IT WAS SO DAMN FANTASTIC!!!!There were SO many items,I was shocked at how amazing they all were.Especially when the Olympics logo was lifted right off the ground .It looked so incredible to me that I somehow thought it was something done on Photoshop or something.
I can't describe this enough but the computer is gonna overheat already.Looks like I have to end here for today...

Saved!!!
3:48 PM
Hahaha...After deleting 3 blogs and going to a lot of trouble(including giving this blog up for good),I finally discovered that to put a non-default template you have to go and switch to classic template mode.Lol.
P.S.Thanks Pamela for telling me the crucial info to save this blog.(Double LOL)
